Meet Our Pastor
Pastor Peter Ostrander, MDiv
You might be wondering how I came to be the pastor of Harmony Baptist Church. I wasn't raised in a pastor's home. As a matter of fact, when I graduated from Fall River Public Schools, my plan was to be a businessman. I attended UW-Whitewater for a year and a half pursing a business management degree. During this time Jesus Christ started to work on my heart. I looked around and saw the spiritual needs of my peers and sensed that the Lord wanted me to do something different.
As a follower of Jesus Christ, I knew He should be the one to direct my life. At that point I yielded my life to Christ and He has directed my steps. Christ led me to attend Maranatha Baptist University to obtain training for ministry. He brought a wonderful wife (Laura) to me and blessed our family with 6 children.
Jesus Christ allowed us to minister in churches in Tuscola, Illinois and Newton, Kansas. We are glad to be at Harmony, to be used of God to preach and teach His precious Word.
Our Ministries
Infants & Children
We believe children are valuable to God. We seek to partner with families by providing truth-centered instruction and activities for ages newborn to 6th grade with Nursery, Sunday School, Junior Church and Wednesday night Kingdom Kids.
Youth & College
We desire to see young people grow in the foundational truths of God’s Word. We strive to engage youth through spiritually wholesome lessons, ministry participation, and fun activities.
Adults & Seniors
We hope to encourage and sharpen people in the Word of God with the desire of cultivating a passionate love for Christ through prayer, Bible studies and fellowship gatherings.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is your building handicapped accessible?
Yes! Our entire building, including entrances, restrooms, and meeting rooms are completely handicapped accessible.
Where should I park?
We encourage those visiting to park in our front parking lot near our main entrance. Additional parking may be found on the building’s south side near the playground equipment.
Where should I go when I arrive?
Our primary meeting rooms are located to the left as you proceed through the building. Our auditorium and nursery are at the end of the hallway.
Do you provide childcare?
Yes we do! You may leave your children in our clean and safe nursery environment with our dedicated nursery helpers, or you may bring your children with you into our service.
